After tweaking this mantel too many times to count,
I think it's time to stop!
It started out with mostly silver and mirrors.

But it seemed a bit harsh...so I tried softening it by
adding some bottle brush trees.
Some height was needed between the mirrors...
mercury glass candle holders did the trick.
Burlap ribbon added a totally different texture
and helped unite all the pieces.
The burlap stockings...my daughter's idea...
were the finishing touch!
Ta-Da!!

I love it! It's one of the prettiest mantel's I've seen. My favorite is the stockings. Did you buy them or make them yourself. They are so cute! I love the vintage items displayed on top with the burlap ribbon running through too.

The reflective quality of the mirrors and mercury glass add such sparkle to your room, and the fairy lights are so nice, especially with the lights down low. Yes, I think your work is done. :)
