Vintage Metal Washstand

Have you ever had a friend say to you,
"that is so you!"

I consider those four little words a compliment...because
my home really is an expression of who I am.

I like when others "get me."

When I spotted this vintage metal washstand,
I thought to myself, "that is so me!"

Oh my goodness, just look at...

the yummy colors,

the little towel bar,

the perfect patina and rust...

What's not to love!

This is so me!

And I'm already changing it up...

You see, I found this vintage picnic basket.

I think it was the leather clasp that grabbed my attention.

It fit perfectly on the lower shelf of the washstand...
great for bathroom storage.

And wouldn't this washstand be fun on a porch...with a
 plant in the bowl...endless possibilities!

Blessings,

Mary Alice
